Installation Instructions
INSTALLING MAPLE:
This confirms your lease of the licenses listed above through the COE/UW Maple licensing program. Leases renew each June.
The initial creation of, and any changes to, Maple license leases related to this program will be handled through dfray@uw.edu
All Maple software can be downloaded from the College of Engineering's software distribution site:
Host: https://www.engr.washington.edu/downloads/distribution/
You will need to know the Maple license server host name.
Host: maple.engr.washington.edu and flexlm port number, 28004.
If you are running a firewall, be sure to open ports 28004 and 28010.
To grant your computer access to my license server, I need to know the host name or campus ip address of your computer.
I'll add the information supplied to my license server's config file, which will allow you to check out a license.
Concurrent Use licenses may be installed on as many machines as desired but a license server allows each license to be used by only one person at a time. Concurrent Use also allows for the simultaneous use of multiple licenses on a single machine. Concurrent Use licenses require a continuous internet connection to the server to operate.
Complete system requirements and install instructions can be found on the vendor's web site at: http://www.maplesoft.com/documentation_center/
If you experience problems setting up your Maple license:
